Vision
The centre envisages the facilitation of excellence in business pedagogy and research at XLRI.
Mission
To make XLRI a world-class business case repository and to pursue knowledge creation through collaboration.
Avenues to achieve the vision and mission
The centre helps the authors navigate the entire journey of developing a case study, from conceptualisation, research, writing and finally publishing. The centre also organises training and workshops focused on exploring the nuances of case teaching and learning methodology. When requisitioned, the centre also partners with other management institutes to conduct training sessions for case authors and industry practitioners.
The centre also facilitates case writers to develop cases in collaboration with start-ups and established corporates.
To pro1mote the cases on a global platform, the centre has partnered with The Case Centre (UK) and is in the process to establish partnership with Harvard Business Publishing as well. The centre also facilitates the case authors in sending cases for international competitions. Many of the cases registered with the centre have won accolades in international forums.
