DONATIONS TO XLRI – 75 YEARS - PLATINUM JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS
XLRI – Xavier School of Management is celebrating its platinum jubilee starting from October 11, 2023, to October 10, 2024. The jubilee of an institution is an important milestone that gives us an opportunity to look backward on the distance travelled and forward to the journey that lies ahead and has to be planned.
Casting a glance over the years that have gone by, we cannot but thank God for the blessings received through students, professors, staff, well-wishers, and Jesuit Fathers in making XLRI today a premier business school in the Jesuit Spirit of Magis. Without your support we couldn’t have achieved this milestone. XLRI family sincerely thanks each one of you and your family for your continuous support and prayers.
To mark the event and build on the past heritage of XLRI, XLRI is planning to strengthen its research and publications; build necessary infrastructure to foster quality education and establish centers of excellence. Following are some of the concrete events planned to celebrate the milestone and continue the legacy of XLRI with some specific projects.
- Research Scholars Residence (Free accommodation and fully funded fellow program): (96 studio accommodation facility for Married Fellows) - 22 Cr.
- 240 Rooms Student Hostel (to start 2 new programs) – 36 Cr.
- Jubilee Conferences and Events – 6 Cr.
- Modernization of the Library (Making it a Digital Library) – 15 Cr
- Scholarship Fund
- Fr Ed. McGrath, S.J., Research Centre and Chair (on his 100th birth anniversary year) – 50 Cr.
FR ED. McGRATH, S.J., (BIRTH CENTENARY): The friends of beloved Fr Ed. McGrath on his birth anniversary desire to show respect and honor their loving Guru by establishing Fr Ed. McGrath, S.J., Research Centre and Chair whereby the Fr Ed. McGrath continues to inspire and transform student community as he did in the lives of thousands of Alumni. The Centre aims at inculcating human values in the student community and promote research in the field of Human Resource Management with a difference.
Fr Ed. McGrath was one of the founding fathers at XLRI. Fr Ed. McGrath was a remarkable Teacher and an extraordinary human being. A true change agent, imbibing in his students the concepts of leadership with humility, caring for the less fortunate and building confidence in individuals, in recognizing their true worth. Your support towards this initiative will not only help us honor Fr Ed. McGrath's contributions but also enhance the substance and quality of education and research at XLRI.
On our two extraordinary celebrations, these specific projects would help XLRI to become a truly an internationally renowned Institute. Hence, we the XL Family (Alumni, Faculty, Staff, Students, and the Management) earnestly place our request for your generous contributions/donations/grants to make XLRI’s dreams come true.
You can make your contributions through any of the procedures listed below. (Your contribution will be eligible for 80G benefits under IT Act. Besides, XLRI is registered to receive CSR funds).
