Exchange Program
(ISEP) of XLRI.
ISEP is an acronym for International Student Exchange Program of XLRI. With the aim being global outlook, this initiative strives to partner with the best educational institutes across the world, each being unique in its own way, thereby providing yet another platform for the bright minds to assimilate and garner global perspectives in this ever shrinking world

ISEP Committee
ISEP Committee is a student-run committee that helps the International Student Exchange Program at XLRI. Currently, the ISEP Office has associations with universities across Europe (France, Germany, Spain, Greece, and UK), USA, and Southeast Asia. It also facilitates the alliances of XLRI with new foreign universities.
ISEP Committee is responsible for the cultural integration of students who come to XLRI for student exchange program. The committee ensures that the students have a pleasant and comfortable stay at XLRI. It organizes various ice-breaker events for the foreign exchange students and XLRI students. It also organizes cultural activities to acquaint them with the Indian culture.
ISEP committee also assists the outgoing XLRI Students with their application process for the foreign universities they are applying to. It has collaborations with banks and travel agencies to aid the outgoing exchange students with flight bookings, travel cards, Euro-rail passes, travel insurance etc. The committee collaborates with the student exchange committees of all the IIMs to negotiate the best deals for students traveling abroad.
Apart from this, ISEP committee also conducts Model United Nations during Ensemble-Valhalla which provides a platform for MUNers across the country to discuss international issues of paramount importance and envision new perspectives to understand the changing world we live in.

As the first B-school established in India post-Independence, XLRI proudly combines tradition with modernity. Our unwavering quest for excellence tempered with great pioneering spirit for reinventing has kept us on the cusp of management education. Our new campuses with new programmes reaching out into new avenues is a testimony to this spirit.
In this globalised era, we realize success is spelt by combining a global outlook while remaining true to one’s regional moorings. That’s what we strive to deliver to our students - a deep appreciation of one’s own culture, a conscious cultivation of diversity of perspectives, and seamlessly blending these So as to collaborate efficaciously with other countries, and realize that difference makes no difference.
To this effect, XLRI has signed agreements with a number of renowned B-schools across the world for student and faculty exchange, and collaborative research. We wish to experience and contribute to a fusion of ideas that would make the future of this world more secure, and productive. Welcome dear overseas students and faculty, let’s together create a new heaven and a new earth.

Today companies have realized that the rules of the game are changing and the ones most poised to handle the rapid changes are the ones who stand to reap a fortune. And to ride the waves of this change we need a breed of managers who are daring and spirited and yet tempered with knowledge. XLRI believes that management education today is incomplete without a global exposure and thus envisages a symbiotic climate of international cooperation amongst the centers of management excellence across continents. Working towards the goal of creating managers who can take up assignments in any part of the world, the institute has developed an excellent international student exchange program. This provides students with the opportunity to join partner institutes abroad, through different programs. XLRI also ensures that students in other countries come over to campus, as this serves the dual purpose of creating a global environment in campus, and providing students abroad with hands on experience of the magic called India. XLRI has well structured cooperation programs running with leading institutes of the world. The institute encourages cooperation with partner institutes on many fronts, some of which are as follows:
- Faculty Exchange Programs, Joint Research initiatives and consulting assignments
- Dual Degree programs at XLRI’s India as well as Dubai and Singapore campuses
- Student Exchange programs (Business Management students, Personnel management and Industrial Relations as well as doctoral students)
